There are 300 climate controlled sleeping options from cabins with kitchens, to hotel style rooms with private baths, to dorm style sleeping quarters. Please see the website for complete details about the Festival. Yoga—Just as the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival introduced Swami Satchidinanda and Integral yoga to the Flower Generation, Lovelight continues the tradition by featuring ‘traditional’ Integral Yoga alongside modern styles like Jivamukti, Dharma, Acro and Kundalini. Guests can take continuously offered classes at the indoor/outdoor yoga pavilion, many of which will be supported by live music and DJ’s. Advance classes and immersions will also be available with Dana Trixie Flynn, Krishna Das, and other featured presenters. Back to the Garden Stage - Curated by Lovelight Founder Wynne Paris and legendary producer Michael Lang, this outdoor stage showcases spiritually attuned bands and artists as well as Indian, Sufi and Tibetan musicians, reggae, jam bands, musical healers, and poets. The back to the garden stage goes beyond yoga and features eclectic, and heat centered bands like Woodstock original Fantuzzi and Grateful Dead family/Ratdog lead guitarist Mark Karan. A few friends and original Woodstock artists will also be invited to perform. The chemistry of the festival elements, including the audience mix, will be balanced with focused preselling of tickets and by limiting the size of the event to 3,000 people Transformation—Perhaps the most artistic and colorful community to embrace yoga, the Transformational culture, will also have a home at Lovelight. Influenced by Burning Man, and with core tenets of artistic expression, love, spirituality and evolution, this element of the festival manifests through IDM (intelligent dance music), DJs, light shows, performance artists, theme camps and visionary art installations. Kirtan - Yoga music’s greatest star, Krishna Das, joins a lineup of featured performers that also includes Wah!, Girish, Ajeet Kaur, Gurunam Singh, and the Kirtan Rabbi. Mike Cohen will also be leading a kirtan training for beginners and local kirtan groups will be performing on a special kirtan stage. Healing —The “ Dr Wu's Healing Village” will feature a variety of holistic practices including Thai yoga massage, Reiki, table massage and Ayurveda. Teachings and consultations will be available from loving and experienced healers. Evening drum circles, bonfires and lakeside dancing will be facilitated by Drum Strong, a Lovelight partner and sponsor dedicated to beating cancer with drumming. Food—Organic and high quality food is a cornerstone of Lovelight, which features a vegetarian cafeteria, a Hare Krishna Kitchen camp and a “Garden of Eating” food vendor area, where local food and drink vendors will offer 24 hour service. A new food offering this year will be a juice plan for those who love fresh juice or might even want to go on a juice fast for the weekend.
